A pair of griffins guard the Battle Square entrance to the Grove Arcade. This one is named Roger. The other is named Bill.

The Battery Park Hotel was once one of the finest hotels in the nation.


Here is a monument representing a guest book. Some of the signatures reproduced here are F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald's and Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt's and Babe Ruth's.
