Battlestar Galactica

Here are some thoughts on tonight's episode of Battlestar Galactica.

Adama's fascination with Boomer, both living Boomer 2.0 and dead Boomer 1.0 is not a good sign. She told him that she would NOT ID other Cylons in the Fleet, meaning that her ultimate loyalty is still with the Cylons. Helo will probably find this out when she puts a bullet through his head, while telling him how much she loves him. Adama needs to toss her out the nearest airlock ASAP, and Helo with her.

Two terrorist organizations, Cylon infiltrators and a black market organization with all the warmth and charm of the Russian Mafia are all good arguments for strict martial law.

Helen Tigh is an idiot of cosmic dimensions, in addition to being a slut and a drunk. If every great man has a good woman standing behind him then every broken down drunk must have a Helen Tigh standing behind him.

Apollo seems to have used up his lifetime supply of luck just surviving the Cylon surprise attack.

Starbuck is a loose cannon. How could she think that the best known viper pilot in the Fleet, except maybe Apollo, wouldn't be recognized.

Dee is going to have her heart broken by Apollo. It's just that he doesn't love her. He loves Starbuck who loves him when she isn't thinking about the pyramid player she left on Caprica and screwing anything with a penis.

Apparently the president's religious visions and burning fanaticism have been left by the wayside.

What the frack is a "dark matter blind spot"? Dark matter is just mass in the universe that we think ought to be there that we can't detect not some kind of cosmic pixie dust with magic powers scattered around space.

Is the Fleet heading toward that nebula that will supposedly point the way to Earth?
