I just installed a Wilson "drop-in" beavertail grip safety in my Colt Combat Commander. "Drop-in" means that you don't have to cut the frame, not that you don't have to fit the safety. A little stoning and it popped right in. Tomorrow we go to the indoor range for test firing.
Next a Wilson tactical extended thumb safety and a Cylinder & Slide Shop drop in action job. All that can be done without sending the pistol off to a gunsmith.
