Thousands Dead

There has been a disaster in the Red Sea. Whole article here.

An Egyptian ferry carrying about 1,300 people sank in the Red Sea overnight during bad weather, and rescue ships and helicopters pulled dozens of bodies from the water Friday, an official said. About 100 survivors in lifeboats were rescued.

Egypt has already refused Israel's offer of help in searching for and rescuing survivors. Apparently it is better to die than to owe your life to a Jew. How long will it be before the Arabic language press begins airing/printing conspiracy theories blaming Israel and/or President Bush for the disaster? And how long will it take after that for Michael Moore/Cindy Sheehan/Congressional Black Caucus/Anti-War.com/Hollywood/Howard Dean/dailykos/moveon.org/Minister Farrakan to pick up on it?

I'll bet that before the end of next week there will be at least one call to Rush, Laura, Sean, Tammy or the G Man seriously stating that the Jews or Bush sank the ferry to kill Muslims returning from the Hajj.

  1. That's right, the Jewish liberal media and Jewish Hollywood love blaming things on the Jews.

    :rolls eyes:

  2. I don't know were to begin. This target is so big that I'd need to shoot blindfolded from 2500 yards to make it fair.

  3. Yup, so don't say anything. Nice.

Just so I can distance myself from the true riff-raff, Moore is over the top, Sheehan is plain wrong, Dean had something and lost it, and Farrakan is a caricature of ... something.

    I'm a liberal and I hate leftists.

And true liberals don't call in to those shows you mentioned either (and if they do, you can bet the Hannitys of the world are smart enough to only put on the dumb ones - makes better radio/tv).

  5. I needed to know where you were coming from. The argument to refute a leftist moonbat is a little different that that needed to answer an ultra-right neo Nazi.

I have to go to work now. I'll put up a post about this tonight or tomorrow.

Since you deny being an extreme leftist I'll take you seriously.

  6. Fair enough... it seems you're somewhat reasonable, since you're only attacking the leftists.

I've just about had it with thinking that Sheehan's every word speaks for all liberals...

  7. First off since I didn't include any mainstream media outlets in my rogue’s gallery I’ll not bother trying to illustrate their bias against Israel.

Second, I don’t hate liberals. I’m on record as saying that if Pat Buchanan was running against Joe Lieberman I would probably vote for Lieberman (unless he proved himself to be rabidly anti-gun then I would vote Libertarian). Harry Truman and Jack Kennedy were both liberals and were both good presidents. It’s just that the political party which today aligns most closely with the ideas of Truman and Kennedy is the Republican Party.

As for your assertion that Hollywood doesn’t have an anti-Israel bias have you considered that Munich has been nominated for an Academy Award for best picture? This is a movie which argues that there is moral equivalence between the murders committed by an arm of the PLO and the response of the Israeli security service. If you have some evidence to the contrary, like major directors, studio heads or actors (other than the handful of conservatives like Bruce Willis who made his reputation as an actor before “coming out” with his political views) taking an unapologetic and unqualified pro-Israel stance bring it to the table.
