THE most widespread outbreak of industrial action since the 1926 General Strike is set to bring much of Scotland to a halt later this month, after local government workers voted to walk out in a bitter row with the government over pensions.
If your country can be brought to “a halt” by a walkout of government workers THAT’S YOUR PROBLEM!
The union might have a case here, but that's beside the point. How can a once proud nation let itself sink to the place where the citizens have to depend on the government for the simple necessities of life?
