The apple doesn't fall far from the tree

Michelle Malkin has a good roundup of what is known to date about the latest Kennedy scandal. For those of you who have actual lives and don't spend nearly every minute listening to talk radio, watching FOX news or surfing the web here is a thumbnail.

Representative Patrick Kennedy, son of drunken moonbat Senator Ted Kennedy, was involved in an accident at 2:45 AM when Kennedy, driving with his lights off, nearly missed a Capitol Police cruiser and smashed into a concrete security barrier.

Kennedy appeared, to the trained eye of the police at the scene, to be drunk. Before the police officers could perform a field sobriety test, however, supervisors showed up and took charge. Which apparently meant driving the congressman home and tucking him into bed.

It also seems that just a couple of weeks ago the congressman was involved in another accident in Rhode Island.

Comparisons to the Mary Jo Kopechne affair are already being made.

Stay tuned for updates.
