Has anyone here ever had an encounter with ball lightening?
Earlier this evening we had a series of thunderstorms move through the area. I took advantage of a break in the rain to run out to my car for something and saw a bright white ball of light moving down the road running parallel to and slightly below the power lines.
It was moving about as fast as a man could jog. It went down the road and then up a hill toward the electric substation, where I lost sight of it.
