Border News

Michelle Malkin has a good post up on her blog running down some of the latest information on the continuing border war. Here is how it starts:

President Bush may finally be coming around to beefing up the border with National Guard troops, but it's not stopping foreign governments and activist judges from interfering in the enforcement of our immigration laws. The Mexican consulate is investigating our immigration agents for arresting illegal aliens in northern Kentucky:

There is good news and bad news here. Apparently the President is showing at least some signs that he is getting the message (maybe) and ICE is stepping up enforcement of the law, at least for now.

On the down side a wackjob judge in Chicago has issued an injunction against a local business forbidding them from attempting to verify their employees immigration status.
