The enemy we face

Michelle Malkin is talking about the murder of Iraqi journalist Atwar Bahjat. There are links on her site that you can follow to the full story, but the short version is this.

Atwar Bahjat was captured by Islamofascist animals and here head was hacked off. The event was filmed by someone with a video capable cell phone.

unfortunately this incident is nothing new. This woman died because she was a woman who was making her own way in the world and because she was a reporter telling the truth.

It is said that "I love you" said too many times takes on all the emotional significance of "pass the salt". The same is also true for negative words and phrases. Words like "monster" and "animal" when used too often, as they must be if we are to accurately describe the enemy in our current war, lose their emotional impact.

Fits at Shooting the Messenger thinks we need to find a new name for them. I agree. We need a new lexicon of evil. Perhaps there is a thesaurus in the library of Hell that containes the terms we need.

Perhaps one of the 9/11 hijackers will check it our for us.
