Question: If the news media didn't have egg all over its face already and if they didn't know that the bloggers were looking at every picture they publish with a microscope would they have bothered to publish this correction?
Question: Is it a good idea to use stringers who are parties to the conflict? Is that the best way to cover a war? Would the BBC have used members of the Hitler Youth as stringers during WWII?
Ok, I know that if the BBC were the same then as it is now they would have, but back then the Beeb wanted the good guys to win the war. Factor that into your answer.
