A funny, family friendly show about a widowed father bringing up his young son in a small North Carolina town.
The Andy Griffith Show was never out of the top 10 during its entire 8 year run. It was number 1 when the network made the foolish decision to cancel it.
Since then it has lived on in syndication and is currently being seen all around the world.
If a person had the ability to tap into every TV signal, broadcast and cable, in the world he could watch the Andy Griffith Show 24/7/365.
To this day what American doesn't know Andy, Opie, Aunt Bee and Barney like members of his own family.
Wouldn't the world be a better place if there was a little bit more Mayberry in it?
