Tagged again

I've been tagged by Cookie to list six unusual and unknown things about myself. So hear they are:

1. I have a blog. This will not seem unusual to most of the people reading this, but most of the people in the world do not blog and very few people that I know in the real world know about this blog.

2. I am learning to play the bagpipes. This is not easy to do when you are in your late 40s but I intend to master them. After all there's only nine notes, how difficult could it be. . .

3. I believe in ghosts, but I do not believe that they have anything to do with the spirits of dead people. I believe that when science starts taking the phenomena seriously that it will open up the next great expansion of human knowledge.

4. I love theater, Cabaret, The Music Man, Phantom of the Opera, The Sound of Music, I love them all.

5. I hate country music. I am a conservative and I live in the South so I should love it, but it makes my skin crawl. I know that most country performers are good patriotic folks and I'm proud of the way that country music fans have ostracized the Dixie Chicks, but I just can't get behind the music. I do, however, love bluegrass.

6. I also cried at the end of Silent Running when the little robot was left all alone in space with his little watering can.
