WASHINGTON - Rudy Giuliani is hoping actions - in the form of two endorsements yesterday - speak louder than his own words when it comes to wooing social conservatives.
Conservative leaders Ted Olson, who was President Bush's solicitor general, and Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) backed Giuliani yesterday, even as the ex-mayor danced around questions on how he would deal with cherished conservative issues.
Sorry, but I'm not impressed. Everybody knows that Barbara was the real conservative in the family. As for David Vitter the only thing I can say is, "Who?"
The only thing Rudy has going for him is his sworn promise to appoint Supreme Court judges who will overturn everything he believes in.
Yeah, OK.
