To all of you out there who have been hoping and praying that Fred Thompson would enter the presidential race I have the worst possible news.
The LA Times has uncovered undeniable proof that Fred Thompson is a genocidal racist neo-Nazi Jew Hater who owns an autographed copy of Mein Kampf.
How did the LA Times uncover this blockbuster which will surely ruin Thompson's political career?
Someone at the paper must have been a fan of the TV show Wiseguy. Because 19 years ago actor Fred Thompson played neo-Nazi Knox Pooley on an arc of the NBC series about the adventures of FBI agent Vinnie Terranova.
Notice how the LA Times treats the issue:So can "Law & Order" actor and former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.) become the first presidential candidate with this credit? Thompson played a white supremacist, spewing anti-Semitic comments and fondling an autographed copy of "Mein Kampf" on a television drama 19 years ago.
His colleagues say that he was just an actor putting everything he had into playing the role of a charismatic racist, named Knox Pooley, in three episodes of CBS' hit show "Wiseguy" in 1988. "Do you call Tom Cruise a killer because he played one in a movie?" asked show creator and writer Stephen J. Cannell.
Here is what blogger Ace of Spades says about the Times coverage:
His colleagues say that. It's not like the writer can say, definitively, on his own authority, that Thompson was "just an actor" playing a role, speaking lines written for him by someone else.
No-- that would be going too far without enough evidence to back it up. So, for now, we'll just have to settle for his colleagues saying this was just a role.
But who knows what it really might have been? The LAT hasn't reached any firm conclusions.
Exactly. It matters not that actors play roles which have little similarity to their own personalities all the time. Anthony Hopkins must be a cannibalistic serial killer because he played one in a series of movies. And it now makes sense that Robert Blake was acquitted of murdering his estranged wife despite the fact that every single shred of evidence pointed to him. Detective Beretta would never do such a thing and the jury knew it!
If there ever was any evidence that Fred needs to get into the race it is this. If Thompson has the left soiling their diapers this badly and if this is the best they can do against him he should be a shoe in for the White House.
