A photograph by the same photographer who snapped the picture of the old Iraqi woman holding two unfired cartridges which she claims "hit her house" during an American raid into her neighborhood shows what seems to be the same woman holding a "bullet" which she says hit her bed during another firefight involving American forces.I notice two things. On is there don't appear to be any marks on the object from the rifling of a gun barrel.
Two, this projectile is way too big to have been fired from any rifle or squad automatic weapon currently issued by the US or any of our coalition partners. If I had to guess I would say that it is either the tip of a ballpoint pen or a submunition from an Iranian supplied IED that someone picked up.
