Belgian police beat peaceful demonstrators

On Sept. 11, 2007 Europeans who still value the traditions and culture of Europe wanted to meet in Brussels, the seat of the European Union government, to protest the Islamization of Europe and to observe a minute of silence in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attack of 9/11/01.

The mayor of Brussels refused to grant them a permit because holding the demonstration and moment of silence on 9/11 implied that there was, or might be, a connection between terrorism and Islam.

Many Europeans decided to hold their gathering in Brussels in spite of being denied a permit. The Brussels police responded, as can be seen in the above video clip posted to YouTube by conservative Belgian political party Vlaams Belang (Flemish Interest).

More about this, along with another video is available on The Brussels Journal.

Keep in mind that a large part of what angered the Belgian/EU establishment was the demonstrators desire to honor the American dead of 9/11.
