Popular author drinks the Clinton Kool-Aid

From The Des Moines Register:

Best-selling author John Grisham, taking his first major public step in presidential politics by planning to host an event Sunday near his home in Charlottesville, Va., for New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, said the current administration is built around "bad people with evil intent" and contends President Bush played politics as thousands died in Iraq.

Grisham talked about this weekend's event during an interview Thursday to discuss his new book, "Playing for Pizza," a fictional account of a Davenport and University of Iowa football player trying to revive a fractured career in Italy.

"The war is an immoral abomination that we'll pay for for decades to come," Grisham said near the end of a 40-minute telephone interview with The Des Moines Register.

Usually authors who write popular novels are a bit more reluctant to alienate half their potential customers. However the psychosis of Bush Derangement Syndrome severely erodes the rational thought process.

Grisham needs to watch out. Association with the Clintons often proves exceedingly harmful. While Bill and Hillary always seem to float above it all those around them are usually not so lucky.

Remember how many of their former friends and associates have turned up dead, or gone to jail or had to flee the country to avoid prosecution? Remember how the Democrat Party which went into his first term firmly in control of both houses of the legislature ended up a minority party?

Bill and Hillary are like the monsters from some kind of Greek myth or science fiction story. They exert some kind of power to draw people to them and then suck the life force from them. Where is Hercules or Dr. Who when we need them?
