See you this evening

A very heavy work load today prevents me from doing much posting. I'll be back late this evening with some new content. Until then here is a picture of a Ruger GP-100 series revolver. This is the KGPF-331 it has fixed sights, a three inch barrel and is stainless steel. The caliber is .357 Magnum. This is one of the best revolvers ever made for concealed carry.

Although the revolver doesn't hold as many rounds of ammunition as most automatics it also doesn't leave ejected brass behind for the cops to find and tie to you. The .357 continues to be the handgun round with the best stopping power of all handgun ammunition (in the right loadings) unless you move up to the new very large handgun calibers like the .460 and the .500 Magnum. Guns whose large size make them difficult to conceal and whose fierce recoil make second shots highly problematic.

So if God himself has descended from Heaven and sworn to you that you will never have to face multiple assailants and that you first shot will always hit the central nervous system then by all means carry a hand-cannon.

But then with such divine assurances why not save the space and weight and carry an ADC Model 1 in .45 Colt/.410.
