As all of you should know the primary race in each party is about collecting enough delegates to each party's convention to secure the nomination. On the Republican side there is a clear frontrunner and that is Mitt Romney. Here are the totals so far:
Romney 30
Huckabee 21
McCain 10
Thompson 6
Paul 2
Giuliani 1
Hunter 1
Of course there are 1191 needed to win and most states haven't voted yet so anything can still happen, but it is useful to remember that for all the people trying to count Romney out he is actually in the lead in the one metric that actually matters.
