Exit polls show Hillary is in deep trouble

Wisconsin Exit Polls:

Obama Won:
Women (51-49)
All age groups under 65
All education levels
All regions of the state -- urban, suburban and rural
Voters without college degrees (50-48)
Democrats (50-49)
Whites (53-46)
White men (59-38)
Voters who decided in the last week (58-42)

Won or tied voters of all income levels
Tied among white women
Tied among union members
Tied among union households

NONE of this is good news for Hillary. She had been hoping for enough racism on the part of Democrat voters to give her a victory yet Obama won white men and tied in white women. Poorly educated people had been one of her strong areas and she lost them tonight. And, perhaps most important, she lost the late deciders.

As things stand now the only way Mrs. Bill Clinton is going to get the nomination is if she steals it. Of course stealing the nomination is exactly what the Clintons are trying to do. At least if the report in The Polticio is correct that she is attempting to get delegates who are pledged to Obama to defect and vote for her at the convention.

And we're not talking about super delegates who are not bound by any vote of the people. We're talking about the delegates who were awarded on the basis of the vote in their state's primary.

And let's not forget Florida and Michigan whose delegates are not to be seated at the convention as punishment for holding early primaries. Even though Clinton signed the pledge not to campaign in those states and announced her support for the DNC's decision to reject the two rebellious states' delegates she is now working to see those delegates seated. This despite the fact that her name was the only one on the ballot in Michigan and none of the other Democrat candidates campaigned in Florida.

These are the Clintons we are talking about. They will lie and slime and cheat and do anything - absolutely anything - they have to do to reach their goals.

They may well fail, but it will not be for lack of utterly ruthless trying.
