It's official

The Republican party has committed suicide. John McCain has gone "over the top" and secured enough delegates to gain the nomination. Not that there was any question but now it's there in black and white.

With McCain at the top of the ticket it will be at least 20 years before the conservative movement can regroup sufficiently to gain the Republican nomination again and by that time it will likely be too late.

I will, of course, keep fighting because I believe in a miracle working God, but the only hope the USA has now is divine intervention.

It seems that B. Hussein Obama and Mrs. Bill Clinton are going to fight to a draw tonight but it doesn't really matter. Neither of them is any more qualified to be president than McCain so whoever wins the nation loses.
