Obama explains it all

Born Again Redneck has a post up with lots of links and photographs dealing with B. Hussein Obama's unpublicized visit to San Francisco where he attended a series of very high dollar ($2300 per head) fundraisers where he collected wheelbarrows full of cold hard cash from the wealthy who use such contributions to purchase access and influence.

Now Ben Smith writing on Politico tells us a bit of what Obama had to say to the left-wing fat cats:

Mayhill Fowler has more from Obama's remarks at a San Francisco fundraiser Sunday, and they include an attempt to explain the resentment in small-town Pennsylvania that won't be appreciated by some of the people whose votes Obama's seeking:

You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them...And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.

And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
That's pretty broad list of things to explain with job loss.

It is not surprising that Barack Obama and the limousine liberals of San Francisco utterly fail to understand people who hold sincere religious faith or who choose to own firearms or who worry about the flood of illegal aliens who are overwhelming the nation's social safety net and altering the character of our society. In Obama's world "those" people and their racism and nativism are simply victims of a federal government which has failed to tax enough and spend enough and redistribute enough of other people's income.

All we need to do is elect B. Hussein Obama and he will open the federal money spigot and wash away such primitive and unwelcome holdovers from our nation's racist and ignorant past as belief in the deity of Christ and a desire to be responsible for one's own self defense.

It is so good to know that we have a secular messiah in Barack Obama who can save us from our ignorance and fear.
