Michelle Malkin has more examples of Palin Derangement Syndrome:

Palin Derangement Syndrome strikes again. This time it’s hysterical librarians and their readers on the Internet disseminating a bogus list of books Gov. Sarah Palin supposedly banned in 1996. Looks like some of these library people failed reading comprehension. Take a look at the list below and you’ll find books Gov. Palin supposedly tried to ban…that hadn’t even been published yet. Example: The Harry Potter books, the first of which wasn’t published until 1998.

The smear merchants who continue to circulate the list also failed to do a simple Google search, which would have showed them that the bogus Sarah Palin Banned Book List is almost an exact copy-and-paste reproduction of a generic list of “Books Banned at One Time or Another in the United States” that has been floating around the Internet for years. STACLU notes that the official Obama campaign website is also perpetuating the fraud. And it’s spread to craigslist, where some unhinged user is posting images likening Palin to Hitler. Here it is again.

The person who first spread the Palin smear is identified as “Andrew Aucoin,” a commenter on the blog of librarian Jessamyn West. West has done the right thing in keeping the bogus comment up and pointing out in her main post that “there appears to be no truth to the claim made by the commenter, and no further documentation or support for this has turned up.”

It’s a fake. Not true. Total B.S. A lie.

If it gets sent to you by a moonbat friend or family member, set ‘em all straight. Fight the smears. They’ve only just begun.

Then there's this:

Tons of readers are sending the latest, most pathetic smear against Gov. Sarah Palin.

It is laughable beyond belief.

One “Charley James” accuses Palin of exclaiming the following after Obama defeated Hillary:

“So Sambo beat the bitch!”

If you think these things should just be ignored, take a look at how it’s already spreading:

It was a website called LA Progressive that originally manufactured this great steaming plate of horse manure. Of course most readers of HWT will be smart enough to know that any website not about remanufacturing ammunition that has the word "progressive" in its title will tell the truth only by accident.

Malkin sums up by pointing out that there really are people who called an African-American political candidate "Sambo". They were the "progressive" Democrats who called black Republican Michael Steel that name and other worse ones as well when he was running for the Senate in Maryland.

As I said in the post right below this one the left is scared. They are beyond simple fear or apprehension at this point. They have been reduced to a state of pure animal panic. They are lashing out in a pure instinctive frenzy to destroy the woman whom they sense has the power to end their dreams of victory and the power it will bring.

They have so lost touch with anything approaching a higher reasoning capacity that they are utterly heedless of how they are unmasking themselves before the world. In their willingness to attack a 17-year-0ld girl and an infant with Downs Syndrome they reveal how absolutely destitute they are of any decency, honor or morality.

In attacking Governor Palin for being a poor mother because of her decision to work outside the home the left has adopted the persona of a caricature of a 1930's era jackleg ultra-fundamentalist preacher raving about how women should be "barefoot and pregnant". Are they going to start speaking in tongues and handling snakes next?

Every time a member of one of "their" groups breaks their chains and escapes from the liberal plantation they react this way. Whether it is Clarence Thomas, Michael Steele or now Sarah Palin any woman or racial minority who dares to think for themselves must be ruthlessly destroyed.

And every time they pull back the curtain and show the people what corruption lies at the very heart of their dark an putrefying souls they lose something they can never regain.
