I'm back

Sorry about not posting in so long but work has been eating all my time of late. But I'm not complaining more work means more money and I just bought myself a new 46" Samsung 6000 series LED TV (well, Thursday is my birthday) and in the little time I've had to actually watch it it's been blowing me away.

Of course it isn't all good. Some things simply aren't meant to be seen in super clarity and lifelike detail - like Dennis Leary's face, for example - but on the whole I'd recommend the Samsung to anyone looking for a flat screen TV. The new LED technology outperforms the older LCD tech and all but eliminates the very few advantages that plasma still retains.

Anyway, today I'm going to catch up on posting by putting up some things that I should have done last week. Then tomorrow I'll start trying to post at least once per day. As fall approaches the work load will probably return to more manageable levels and I'll be able to spend more time on the blog.
