Tonight's Music

This is Public Image Ltd.  a project band started by John Lydon after his gig as Johnny Rotten with the Sex Pistols.  John, along with Siouxsie Sioux (Susan Janet Ballion) and a few others who had created the music genre of "punk rock" were running from it as fast as they could and attempting to create a "post-punk" sound. 

Thus were born groups like Public Image Ltd., Siouxsie and the Banshees and Joy Division.
