Tonight's Music

We Three Kings, a traditional carol set to Celtic music (it sounds like Rocky Road to Dublin in the last part).

There is some nice Gothic, Renaissance, Mannerist and Baroque art (among other things) here as well.

Tonight's Music

This is the band Flook. Flook was began as a side project by Michael McGoldrick of Capercaillie.

You see Brian Finnegan on the pennywhistle, Sarah Allen (who is currently taking time off to have a baby) on the accordian, Ed Boyd on guitar and John Joe Kelly who is thought by many to be the best bodhran player in the world.

Tonight's Music

This is the incredibly beautiful and talented Lisa Kelly singing the song Lift the Wings from the Riverdance - Live From New York City show. The song is a part of the segment called American Wake. When the Irish, mostly the younger generation, would leave for America (due to the Potato Famine) their families and friends who were being left behind would throw a wake for them just as though they were dead, because they realized that they would never see them again.
