Today's Music

Here is some more Trans-Siberian Orchestra. This is Christmas Cannon. The music is from Johann Pachelbel's Canon in D, which is believed by many to be the most beautiful piece of music ever written.

This video is from TSO's DVD, The Ghosts of Christmas Eve and is available in a boxed set with three of their Christmas CD's called Christmas Trilogy. It would make a perfect gift for a music lover.

HWT Christmas Gift Guide and Tonight's Music

It is December so we will be featuring as much Christmas music as I can find that meets my high standards. Among the best is that offered by Trans-Siberian Orchestra:

This is their video for one of their best known tunes Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24.

This video is on the DVD which is included in The Christmas Trilogy (3CD/DVD) [BOX SET] .

Product Description: Hard rock producer Paul O'Neill, renowned for his work with Aerosmith and Savatage, teamed with the latter band's Jon Oliva to create Trans-Siberian Orchestra, an inspired fusion of classical music and rock-opera pageantry. Their first two releases are visionary and timeless Christmas-themed concept albums, spotlighting lead guitars and classical string sections alike, and they became instant contemporary holiday classics. 2004's The Lost Christmas Eve, which completes their symphonic rock Yuletide triology, underscores Billboard's recent comment that TSO "seems to be turning into a Christmas tradition."
