All speeded up
I just hooked up my DSL modem. It works great! Blogs that I love, but didn't go to very often because they took so long to download are now accessible to me.
Well, just Dang! Now don't be gettin' all snooty patooty on us po' ol' disadvantaged trash who have no choice but to be tied to the phoneline just cuz y'all has gone all Buck Rogers!
Like paved roads and 911 service, someday...someday, we'll be able to have such mindbogglin' options...but by then I'll be too old to care.
Stop rubbing it in! LOL See...I knew it-all snooty patooty ya are now. Next thing ya know you'll be buying a newspaper and acking like ya can read or something! : )
Century Tel is our co. here and they are still stuck in the previous century.And yes, I do check with them...frequently. My region is at the bottom of their To-Do list.

This was recent here. Check with your phone company every few months.
