A reality Check

A new poll of Spanish-speaking voters shows significant damage to the standing of President Bush and the Republican Party as a consequence of the debate over immigration policy.

President Bush has seriously damaged his relationship with the conservative base of the Republican Party and endangered its congressional majority by his strong advocacy of open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens.

And this is how Hispanics repay him.

Why in the name of heaven does anyone in the Republican Party want to attract these ungrateful losers? Do they not realize that filling the GOP with people who have so little regard for this nation that they can't even be bothered to learn the English language would be suicide?

What are the President and his advisors thinking?

Will this latest jolt of reality lead him to pull his head out of his neathers and start serving the AMERICAN people?
