I told you so

From The Washington Post:

Democrats have regained a commanding position going into the final weeks of the midterm-election campaigns, with support eroding for Republicans on Iraq, ethics and presidential leadership, according to a Washington Post-ABC News poll.

Apparent Republican gains in September have been reversed in the face of mounting U.S. casualties and gloomy forecasts from Iraq and the scandal involving
Mark Foley (R-Fla.), who was forced to resign his congressional post over sexually graphic online conversations with former House pages.

I told you this was going to happen here.

This poll was deliberately conducted in a way designed to oversample Democrats. Its purpose was not to find out how the public planned to vote, but to create a headline. As Jed Babbin said in his American Spectator piece, the mainstream media have gone beyond bias and have actually become partisan players. They are attempting to "do their part" to insure a Democrat victory in this election just like Dan Rather was trying to do his part by using forged documents to attack the President in the last one.

It's up to you. Will you be manipulated by a media which is actively trying to harm the nation or will you get mad and determine to swim across molten lava to get to a voting booth this November?
