The mother of all bad PR

I found this over on Born Again Redneck Yogi.



At first I thought this was a parody video with actors, but then I recognized some of the men and realized that it was genuine.

Notice about 3 minutes and 40 seconds into the video the room's token black guy, who isn't even allowed to sit at the table with the white men, chimes in and then the next thing is where they start talking about how the anti-amnesty forces are really motivated by "cultural concerns". This is code-speak for racism. Their point is that all the white-sheet-wearing gap-tooth hillbilllies are just mad about all those nasty brown-skinned beaners stinking up the country.

Even Saturday Night Live would have thought that was too obvious.

Then Paul Gigot starts talking about how the anti-amnesty people really don't want any immigration at all, mockingly asking who we would accept. I'll tell him. We want anyone who would make this nation a better place. We want people who realize that they are coming from an inferior place to a superior place. We want people who are eager to give up whatever it was that they used to be and become Americans. We want people who are educated and healthy and possess skills which will enhance the United States.

For example, did you know that the majority of Nobel Prizes awarded for the various sciences, including medicine, went to Americans but that the majority of those American winners were not born in this country? That is the kind of people we want. People have made jokes about Indians owning convenience stores or hotels, but that kind of entrepreneurial spirit is what we want in this country. California has to exclude qualified Asians, many immigrants or first or second generation children of immigrants, from the state's elite universities or else there would be no white black or brown faces to be seen on the campuses. Those are the kind of immigrants we want in this country.

What is so fraking hard about that for the Wall Street Journal staff to understand about that?

The truth is that they "get it". Its just that their corporate masters are pissed off that the blacks, which used to be America's underclass, have gotten uppity and they want to import a new batch of peons that they can crap on.

Well its not going to work. Once the illegals are made legal the leverage which employers currently have will be gone and the whole phalanx of Democrat politicians, union organizers, left-wing Catholic priests and nuns and Latino civil rights activists will pounce on the new brown citizens and see to it that they bleed you just as white as any group of native born Americans.
