A simple question

One of the reasons given in support of amnesty for illegal aliens is that it is impossible to deport 12 million people (note that the amnesty crowd always uses the low-ball 12 million figure rather than the high-end number of 32 million or the more reasonable median figure of 20 million).

I have a question of those amnesty advocates. Are you really trying to say that the United States government with a 2 trillion dollar budget and the resources of the military to call upon, if necessary, can not manage to do what a bunch of ignorant illiterate peasants who can't even speak English have managed to do - namely move those aforementioned peasants between some point in one country to some point in another country?

In other words if those dirt-poor Mexicans with almost no resources to call upon managed to get themselves into the United States are the amnesty forces really trying to say that the US government with all it has going for it cannot move them back?
