Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khomeini's Religious Teachings on Marriage, Divorce and Relationships (Parvin Darabi, USA-based Dr. Homa Darabi Foundation website, Jun 10, 2006: "A man can marry a girl younger than nine years of age, even if the girl is still a baby being breastfed. A man, however is prohibited from having intercourse with a girl younger than nine, other sexual act such as forplay, rubbing, kissing and sodomy is allowed. A man having intercourse with a girl younger than nine years of age has not comitted a crime, but only an infraction, if the girl is not permanently damaged. If the girl, however, is permanently damaged, the man must provide for her all her life. But this girl will not count as one of the man's four permanent wives. He also is not permitted to marry the girl's sister." 
I went out to lunch with some friends after church today and snapped this picture.
It occurred to me that little girls like this should be one of our strongest motivators for fighting and winning the war on Islamofascism.
The treatment of females in Islamic society is barbaric, retrograde, dysfunctional and cruel in the extreme.
Dr. Nancy Kobrin, a psychoanalyst and Arabist who is the author of the upcoming book, The Sheikh's New Clothes: Islamic Suicide Terror and What It's Really All About, observes that "The little girl is the most devalued person in the entire Arab Muslim family."
Ralph Peters, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel who served in infantry and intelligence units before becoming a Foreign Area Officer and a global strategic scout for the Pentagon tells us this. "Any society that refuses to exploit the talents and potential contributions of half of its population can't remotely hope to compete with the USA or the West in general. Worse, the virtual enslavement of women is as much a symptom of other ailments as it is a problem in and of itself. Where women are tormented by bitter old men in religious robes, there's never a meritocracy for males, either. And such societies are consistently racially and religiously bigoted." And, "As far as the inhuman, inhumane--and stupid--treatment of women in the Middle East, yep, Islam is scared of the girls. I wish Freud were alive--he'd really get a look at a civilization's discontents."

The murderous rage which traditional Islamic society manifests against virtually the entire non-Islamic world is at least partly due to their attitudes toward women. Jamie Glazov discusses this here.
Dr. Hans-Peter Raddatz tells us that, ". . . over the centuries the jurists and theologians of Islam have widened the rules of the Qur’an and Islamic tradition into an unlimited licence, some sort of blank cheque, for men to handle women as they deem appropriate. Legally, women appear as beings between personal subjects and material objects. Therefore, they are at the disposal of their husbands who are entitled to the unlimited usage of their bodies. Marriage is a contract - as literally expressed in some countries - "to use the sexual organ" for reproduction and personal pleasure. The human rights of sexual self-determination and choice of husband are widely unknown and rare exceptions in practical life." And, "As Islam primarily is and has always been not a religion but a political ideology, male command over the family and violence against women are and have always been indispensable pillars of the Muslim society. For the modern mind it appears quite strange to follow rules which have not only stayed unchanged since 1400 years ago but have also been continuously confirmed over this long period of time.
When a Muslim male beats, rapes or even kills a woman, we are faced with a deeply rooted behaviour pattern which has picked up as a refreshed fashion now. It is called "honor" because it is supposed to secure male power and prevent the society from falling into "Fitna". This is an Arabic term and means something the Muslim ideology is extremely afraid of, namely disturbance or even upheaval in the community. In other words, keeping women under control saves the 'peace of Islam'. "
Those places in the world ruled by Islamic law are not just unfriendly, but bitterly hostile to woman and girls. Of course life under sharia is degrading and oppressive to all people, men, women, boys and girls, but the females have far and away the worst of it.
America and the other nations of the West have their share of dysfunctional families and abuse of women and children, but in the West these are regarded as crimes to be punished or pathologies to be treated, not the socially lauded pillars of proper family life. In Western nations the norm is for girls like those pictured here to grow up being treated with kindness, love and respect.
It angers me that we are at war with such savages and nearly half of the people don't take the matter seriously. After the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor the nation was swept up in a righteous fury which carried the country into the total mobilization of the entire society for war. We put 16 million men under arms and accepted nothing less than unconditional surrender in a war fought on two fronts.
Today Joe Lieberman, the best man in the Democrat Party at least at the national level, is forced out of that party (the party of Truman and FDR) because he refuses to surrender to such evil.
The division in American society between those of us who realize that we are in a war for our lives and way of life and those who either don't recognize the fact that this is war or do recognize it and want us to lose puts us in the position of a 200 lb. man forced to function with a 200 lb. cadaver strapped to his back. The part of our culture which is fighting to win is hampered by the dead weight of the political left.
In fact it is worse than dead weight. A dead body that you happen to be carrying doesn't actively attempt to trip you.
