Well, the rumors were right. The Chief did something really bad. He beat Callie nearly to death. He didn’t mean to. She woke him up from his recurring suicide nightmare. It seems that he has the deep seated fear that he is a Cylon. His pastor (Dean Stockwell – Al from Quantum Leap) told him to suck it up and get back to work. It seems that the gods help them who help themselves.
Sharon says that dark days are ahead. There is “something” out there, a dark time coming. Perhaps she senses that Baltar will win the election. Can you say Bill Clinton in space? Ron Moore says that Eblis is not going to be in this series. Somehow I have a feeling that he may have changed his mind.
Did anyone else notice that the SAR team from the Fleet was carrying the same fracking rifles that the Stargate teams are now carrying? Next the Cylons are going to want the humans to hallow the Ori.
Starbuck gets her wish. A rescue team is sent back to Caprica to get her boyfriend, Triad Johnny Jeets. One of the Raptors gets lost and finds a drab little world that will support human life. This gives Baltar a nice wedge issue to use in his campaign against Roslyn.
Next week the President spills the fact that Baltar is working with the Cylons. She remembered seeing Baltar with Six on Caprica before the attack. She knows that Six is a Cylon because of Gina. Even a politician who used to be a public school teacher can manage to add two and two.
I still think that Six will tell Baltar that he is a clone.
