Remember that CBS poll that showed the president with a 34% approval rating. Here is what you weren't told:

Total Republicans" contacted: 272 unweighted and 289 weighted.
Total Democrats" contacted: 409 unweighted and 381 weighted.
Total Independents" contacted: 337 unweighted and 348 weighted.

More people now identify themselves as Republicans than Democrats yet the poll contacted significantly more Democrats than Republicans. Read more here.
